With passion and pride we deliver an education experience that exceeds expectations. Karate is an excellent way to get fit mentally & physically. Our popular adult classes are taught separately to the children as both syllabus and learning style are different. Qualified instructors teach traditional Karate, Kyokushin, Shito Ryu, Kempo, Kickboxing and effective self defence.

Our programs feature:
Whenever someone new joins one of our schools, we don't just gain a new student so much as we add a new member to our family. Our schools thrive because of our members, and they are at the heart of what we do.
Traditional Karate is a Freestyle form of Karate and encompasses empty hand and weapon patterns/Kata, ground work, self-defence, sparring, kicking, punching, striking and blocking, throws and takedowns. The style is very self-defence based with no frills, that is, it is a workable style of Karate for the modern age but still respects the old ways and values of training and discipline.
Shito-ryu Karate is a combination style, which attempts to unite the diverse roots of karate. On one hand, Shito-ryu has the physical strength and long powerful stances of Shuri-te derived styles, such as Shorin-ryu and Shotokan; on the other hand, Shito-ryu also has the circular and eight-directional movements, breathing power, and hard and soft characteristics of Naha-te styles such as Uechi-ryu and Goju-ryu. Shito-ryu is extremely fast, but still can be artistic and powerful. In addition, Shito-ryu formalizes and emphasizes the five rules of defense, developed by Kenwa Mabuni, and known as Uke no go gensoku, Uke no go genri or Uke no go ho.
Kickboxing will get you super fit with super charged workouts and with plenty of pad work and sparring, if you want to take part in competitions you can and over the course of the year we take part in a few local shows and tournaments as well as the Australian Martial Arts Federation Inc.
Boxing Easy to follow boxing training programs bring you several benefits. Fitness is just one among them. Boxing training gives you the tools and reasons to develop quickly a strong body and unshakable confidence. It gives you the confidence to survive unlucky, unwanted street scenes. Make legs more powerful and arms well formed with intense boxing trainings. Experience the feel of inner strength and emotional balance. Capoeira Capoeira combines dance, martial arts, music, drama, acrobatics, socialising and much more. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian artform that was born out of the struggle for freedom of the slaves in Brazil. It’s origins are old although now it has evolved and spread across the world in a variety of styles.
Japanese Weapons We practice Aikido alongside Kenjutsu (sword technique) as well as SHINBUKAN Iaijutsu. Both require the learning of the same body/mind principles.
Kenpo Karate was created by Kwai Sun Chow. Kenpo training emphasizes a scientific approach to combat and features techniques influenced by various Chinese, Japanese and Hawaiian arts. Many kata are taught, and rapid-fire hand techniques and combinations are often used. The art received a popularity boost after Jeff Speakman, a student of Ed Parker’s, showcased it in the movie The Perfect Weapon (1991).
Kyokushin Karate is a style of stand-up, full contact karate. Kyokushinkai is Japanese for "the society of the ultimate truth." and it is rooted in a philosophy of self-improvement, discipline and hard training. From then, Kyokushin continued to spread to more than 120 countries, and registered members exceed 10 million making it one of the largest martial arts organisations in the world. Among the the better known Kyokushin yudansha (black belts) are Sean Connery (Honorary shodan), Dolph Lundgren (sandan, former Australian heavyweight champion), and President Nelson Mandela of South Africa (Honorary hachidan), and most recently (June 1988), the Australian Prime Minister, John Howard (Honorary godan) who was awarded the grade at the official opening of the Sydney Kyokushin dojo.
